Reverend Jon Wilkinson

Rector of Gateshead Team Ministry

“I am married to Libby who is also a minister and we have two daughters, Rebecca and Hannah.

I love to see members of this church learn more about God, deepen their relationship with Jesus, and develop their gifts and skills. I also love to see the church being a force for good in the local community and the wider world.

When I am relaxing I enjoy walking with my Labrador in the Lakeland hills, playing golf badly, and eating good curry.”

Reverend Jim Craig

Community Arts Chaplin

Jim was our full-time Community Arts Chaplain for the parishes of Gateshead and Bensham and shared his time between the churches of St Edmund’s, Sts James and Bede and St Chad’s. His main project was a public gallery called Sanctuary Artspace, which was installed along the north wall of St Edmund’s Chapel on Gateshead High Street.  Jim has moved on, with his family, to become chaplain at Kings College in London, and currently the art project is in abeyance.

Thomas Rae

Authorised Pastoral Assistant

My name is Tom, I’m married to Christine (almost 43 years) with three grown up children, I also have seven grandchildren. I am a retired chef, and my hobbies are photography, model railways and collecting letterheads. I enjoy spending time with the family especially the grandchildren because being a granddad you can do stupid things and get away with it. I am also an A.P.A. for the Parish of Gateshead and Churchwarden.
